PROGRAM
Ken Carrick will introduce
Charlie Colvin, Executive Director, River Region United
Way. This is the time of year when the United Way has their
annual fund raising drive. Ken will supply background
information about the speaker.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Doug
Speight said a list will be given
out of members who will act as greeters. Their
responsibilty will be to greet visitors that attend our
meetings. Newcomers and guests will be aware that Good
Morning Kiwanis is a warm and friendly Club.
September 13th will be the first time this school year
members will read at Dalraida School. Tell Ken Carrick if
you can read to them. Remember Dalraida School is a
Priority 1 Club project. Members will read after
Thursday's meeting.

- Bonnis Harris Wacoa with the Council on
Aging.
September 20th - Ken Carrick will announce the speaker.
September 27th - Monica Sheeler, with the Attorney
General's office.
APPRECIATION
DINNER
President Jones and Betty
will host a
dinner at the Capitol City Club, September 14th. Members
and their spouses or guests are invited. Dinner will be
from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Dress will be business attire.
President Jones is having the dinner in appreciation for the
support he received from members and the Board during his
term in office.
It is
requested that members RSVP so proper arrangements can be
made.
